Even the most perfect things in life cause pain. That doesn't mean that we love those perfect things any less. 

Times will come in life when you realize you've made a mistake. At that moment, you have two choices. You can swallow your pride and pull a few nails; or you can foolishly continue your course, hoping the problem will go away. Most of the time the problem will only get worse. When you realize you've made a mistake, the best thing you can do is tear it down and start over. 

I will not say "Do not weep". For not all tears are an evil.

Just do it! Think about it after! 

Some people will want a piece of your identity, changing it to fit what they think you should be, and others will want a piece of your time, wasting it with stuff like getting drinking and getting high. And then another piece and another piece. And....if everyone takes a piece of you, what's left of you?"

Many that die deserve to live, while many that live deserve to die. 

All you have to do is decide what to do with the time that has been given you. 

Don't let your past dictate who you are, but LET it be a part of who you become. 

How do you put old threads back together again? How can you go on, when you begin to understand in your heart there is no going back? There ARE things in life, time CANNOT heal or mend. Some pains go to deep and have taken hold. 

It's worth it to go through a small part of hell now so that I don't have to face it forever later on. 

Being perfect is not an option in life, simply do the best you can do. And don't expect more than that. For life is supposed to be fun. 

The sane would do no good if they made themselves mad to help madmen. 

Being a genius only works if you have the discipline to write down your brilliant thoughts. 

Religion has given us just enough love to kill in the name of God, but not enough to love our neighbors. 

We should not ask, "What is wrong with the world?" For that diagnosis has already been given. Rather, we should ask, "What has happened to the salt and the light?"

 She stands alone, off to the side.  Unable to help, wishing she could, she dies.  Pain blinds her as she watches It slip through her grasp.  She wants so much to hold on, but she can't stop It from drifting away. Forgiveness and Fear Ramblings.

 So the question today is "If I don't forgive and move on will I be just like the one who wronged me?" Initially, I would say that is correct, but there is a problem though. I believe this saying, but I find that there are times when I would rather hand on to the anger and bitterness. There are times when I feel the one who is wronged is winning if I just give in and forgive him. I know that's wrong, but it's natural to want the one who hurt you be hurt too right? Thinking about my father, I know I should forgive him, but I  don't know if I want to. How can you forgive someone for the abuse and hate that I have shown every day. I know it's not supposed to be easy, but why does it seem impossible? How can you forgive someone who isn't sorry that they hurt you? Is it possible? I know the theory is wrong, but a part of me feels if I don't forgive him, I am somehow hurting him, when in reality, I am only hurting myself. I don't know. I never claime...

Expectations

  I have gone through some adversity in my life.  Deaths of friend far too young to be taken from the world.  Monumental boughts of future-crushing underachievement.  Shattered young love.  Fights.  Insecurity.  Depression.
